Lord Hobo Godmother Imperial Stout

We originally brewed Godmother as a small batch experiment to balance our portfolio of NE Hazy IPAs with something dark and bold. As is tradition here at Lord Hobo, when we commit to something, we go big, really big – the result was a giant and assertive 12% Imperial stout that maintains a deceptive drinkability and smoothness. Everyone at the brewery and our customers loved this beer so much that we felt it had to make a return with a wider release as part of our Good Lord series, a rotating release of high-end specialty beers that we prize for their creativity and craftsmanship. Godmother is a cherished companion to long dark nights indoors and will help stave off the encroaching cold of winter. A slow sipper, this Imperial Stout opens up the more time you spend with it.
